Young Professionals in Training
YPIT focuses on various areas of employment skills, entrepreneurship, business management and ownership, job readiness, financial literacy, goal setting, college/vocational exposure and enrollment support. The YPIT curriculum includes a one day instructional program.
Career development initiatives are focused on assisting young and up-coming leaders in all aspects of business, networking, goal setting and presentation. The program specializes in giving each participant a competitive advantage entering the workforce or beginning a career.
Who: Co-ed age 13 – 17 (Limited to 20 students)
When: Fall: Saturday’s, September 20, October 18, Nov. 15, 2014
Winter: Saturday’s, January 17, February 21, March 21, 2015
Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (Lunch break 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm)
Where: HRC Classroom
Fee: Free to members / $25.00 per session non-members
