The H.Y.P.E. Elite Speed and Agility division has been created to develop an explosive and well rounded athlete. Our staff of coaches and trainers have years of experience in athletic development and sport specific skills in basketball, football, baseball, soccer, hockey, track, volleyball, wrestling, and lacrosse. The Elite Speed and Agility Training program has been designed to improve and build all aspects of each athlete that utilize the routine. This innovative routine gives the athlete the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, endurance and stamina. The H.Y.P.E. program specializes and focuses on the following development:

Dynamic Flexibility:

Stretching combined with backward, lateral, and forward movements in order to prevent injury and improve flexibility, range of motion, balance, and stability in an athlete.

Agility:

Drills and exercises that focus on foot quickness, lateral movement, first step explosion, and coordination in an athlete. Improves the ability for each athlete to move in space.

Plyometrics:

A type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements, and improve the functions of the nervous system, generally for the purpose of improving performance in sports. Plyometrics are used to help the athlete jump higher, run faster, and be explosive. Stamina and conditioning will also be a focus of plyometric implemented exercises.

Speed Mechanics:

All drills and exercises work on building fast twitch muscles and focus on proper running form. This routine will improve motor skills and straight line speed.

Core Strength:

An athlete’s core is crucial in overall body strength and speed. Abdominal and lower back strength plays an important role in building a well rounded athlete.

Implementation of Sport Specific Skills:

The trainers and routine will implement skills, drills, and techniques from the specific sport the athlete is working on to improve.
